A father is a person who helps in the process of procreation. He raises a famil,provides food,shelter and protection to the children. He earns and makes and feeds. God is our great grandfather .The American regard George Washington as father of the nation.In the christian community,every new born is provided with a god-father or guardian to take care of him. Every father is thus invested with great responsibilities .He is expected to love his children,rear them decently and make sacrifice,affection ,protection and manliness.

These are therefore most important characteristic of a father.
